Molly came to Harvard in 2006 as the webmaster and GIS analyst for the CGA. She currently manages numerous websites, develops web mapping materials, and manages the training, software and data distribution for the CGA. Her special interests include visualization technologies and online mapping tools. Molly earned a M.S. in marine geology from Duke University, and a B.S. in geology from Tufts University. Her Masters thesis involved quantification of sidescan-sonar imagery for natural-resource evaluation offshore of Puerto Rico. She worked with the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA for nine years performing remote sensing, image processing, GIS application development and web development.
