The Center for Geospatial Analysis at the College of William and Mary is recruiting an adjunct teaching position for the Spring 2017 semester. This person will teach two sections of the Introduction to GIS course. This course will provide an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Emphasis will be on the hands-on application of GIS to create maps, organize and visualize spatial data, and query spatial data to create answers for environmental and social questions.

The City of Cambridge is looking for a part-time GIS Technician. A major theme of this position is the use of 3D within GIS. The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience using ESRI ArcGIS, worked with relational databases, and has experience with 3D. Only individuals with proven, hands on GIS experience will be considered. Experience with 3D in GIS applications, CityEngine, SketchUp, Python, or SQL Server a plus.
