The GIS Outreach Librarian works to improve awareness on campus about geospatial technology and to spread the skills to use that technology. The position works with faculty and their TFs to design spatially oriented projects that are academically rigorous but achievable within the limited time available to the students. This is a paid, undergraduate or graduate student position to assist with a Radcliffe Seminar on the utilization of spatial analytics for humanitarian health that is upcoming in February, 2021. This position would include a literature review to identify prudent readings, gleaning appropriate gaps in the research, appropriate seminar questions, case studies, and to stand as a basis for post-seminar publications.
