Friday, February 1, 2019, 12:00pm

Location:

Petersham, MA

The Harvard Forest is looking for two highly qualified undergraduate interns for an 11-week paid summer internship.  The students would be using their GIS or regional planning skills to help understand how to balance land conservation, development, agriculture, and economic interests in the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts.  The students will be part of a well-respected internship program along with ~25 others.

Beginner GIS skills are OK as long as the student is very interested in learning GIS, spatial analysis, and cartography and has an interest in land conservation.

The application deadline is Feb 1, 2019 (firm, no exceptions).

To apply, email Brian R. Hall  at brhall@FAS.HARVARD.EDU.
