For payments to the CGA, including training workshop and GIS institute registrations, plotter usage, GPS damage reimbursement, service invoiced, etc., please choose among the following options:
1) Harvard Internal Payments using Department/Program Billing Code
If a Harvard department or program is paying the cost, please use the Contact CGA form and put “Payment to CGA” in the SUBJECT field. In the MESSAGE field enter the reason for payment (such as the training workshop name or the GPS unit model), the amount due, and the Harvard 33-digit code that you have permission to charge to. Please fill out the rest of the form as required, so that we can confirm receipt of your payment.
2) Bank wire transfer

Please use the Contact CGA form to submit transaction confirmation from your bank once you have made the payment. This is necessary for the CGA to find your payment from the university-wide incoming transactions pool.
3) Check
Please make check payable to: President and Fellows of Harvard College. Add a note to explain what you are paying for, write clearly your name and email on the note or on the envelope. Mail to: Center for Geographic Analysis, c/o Wendy Guan, 1737 Cambridge Street, Suite 350, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA, or drop into the CGA mailbox at: Room K022, Concourse Level, CGIS Knafel Building.
4) Cash
Please put your cash in an envelope, add a note to explain what you are paying for, write clearly your name and email on the note or on the envelope, and drop it into the CGA mailbox at: Room K022, Concourse Level, CGIS Knafel Building.
5) Credit card
Please visit this page and select the appropriate "product" to proceed with payment submission. This is a new option since March 2024.
Note: CGA cannot accept payment by P2P payment networks (such as Apple Cash, Zelle, Paypal or Venmo) or Crimson Cards at this time.
