**CGA visiting scholar Jan Kinne and CGA visiting fellow Bernd Resch, and their co-authors, received the Regional Studies Association's (RSA's) 2024 Spatial Economic Analysis Best Paper Award for** [their paper](https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/17421772.2023.2193222)**, "The digital layer: alternative data for regional and innovation studies".**
