 

#  Results of NFS KNIME Workshop, December 2024

 The [workshop ](/event/workshop-web-based-workflows-reproducible-and-shareable-spatiotemporal-data-analysis)was completed by 15 onsite and 26 online participants from academia, government, and industry worldwide. The event introduced the open source KNIME Analytics Platform and KNIME Business Hub, focusing on collaborative, reproducible workflow development.

 Highlights of the workshop included research applications such as healthcare collaboration, remote sensing, and global sentiment analysis; teaching applications like GIS education and digital humanities; and business use cases in urban planning and other cross-sector solutions. Participants gained hands-on experience with KNIME tools, team workflows, and DataApps.

 The workshop featured presenters at various career stages, including PhD students, postdocs, faculty, government professionals, and industry experts. The event encouraged knowledge sharing, cross-sector collaboration, and demonstrated the potential role of KNIME Hub for advancing research, teaching, and business applications in spatiotemporal data science.
