Stacy came to Harvard in 2012 with work experience in consulting, the non-profit sector, and the arts. In the past she could be found guiding researchers through the Atlantic rainforest in Brazil, managing data for the remediation of a superfund site, routing troupes for a touring theatre company, and building a GIS for a watershed association. She earned a M.S. in GIS for Development and Environment from Clark University, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Northland College. Her special interests include sustainable development (food, building, and energy), hierarchy theory, and creative non-fiction.
