# Zachary Sherman GIS Research Affiliate January - June, 2026 ![Zachary Sherman](/sites/g/files/omnuum9996/files/styles/hwp_4_5__320x400/public/gis/files/zachary_sherman.jpg?itok=cgZZXvCs) email [Zach Sherman](https://www.linkedin.com/in/zach-sherman-/) is a 2025 graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he earned a M.S. in Geography with a focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Zach's thesis focused on research relating to health care access and geospatial analysis using generative AI.
