Akhil Kumar is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto who works closely with the Geographic Insights Lab on research related to Health and Population Development in India and the United States. Topics of his research include child undernutrition, mortality, education, and poverty. In addition to his research, he is helping contribute to the India Policy Insights project, which will be an interactive data tool for the public to view health data in India at varying geographic levels.
