Robert Spang

Currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at the CGA, Robert Spang holds an active position at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, where he engages in both teaching and research. He is on the verge of completing his PhD in an intersection of Computer Science and Psychology, where he has delved into the relationship between individual differences and Quality of Experience (QoE).

He pursued his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Technische Universität Berlin, and later received a Master's degree in Psychological Science, specializing in neuroscience, from the University of Glasgow, UK.

With a special interest in sensor-based assessments, Robert applies these in both stationary and mobile contexts to decipher patterns in human perception and behavior. His research extends to the application of cognitive modeling techniques and geo-spatial analysis in the examination of human mobility and behavior. His current focus lies on using mobility as an indicator of psychological and physical health, aiming to develop applications in rehabilitation and prevention.
