Chelsey Tao is currently a high school rising senior at Shanghai American School in Shanghai, China. She is the founder of Rainbow Spectrum, a club dedicated to raising awareness of inequality issues. She won the individual national silver award in the National Economics Challenge and the bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad. Academically, she is interested in science and technology, particularly data science and artificial intelligence. Chelsey has worked as an intern at a geospatial AI tech company to research knowledge-graph AI tools to visualize geospatial patterns. Furthermore, she participated in the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, assisting the editorial team for the conference publications. She has written research papers related to Metaverse applications to real-world problems, COVID-19 database analysis, etc. She is excited to gain more experience in geospatial research and analysis to solve issues and create impactful values.
