Chuying Huo is a high school student (class 2024) from London Central Secondary School in London, Ontario, Canada. Her academic passions lie in public health, law, and computer science. She serves as a project lead at the Coronavirus Visualization Team, where she analyzes COVID-19 misinformation to combat the infodemic. She seeks to impact the world through research and influence youth from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue STEM. Outside of her research interests, she works at a public health incubator based at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. There, she assists in organizing bills and legislation related to eating disorder prevention. She is also an award-winning journalist who has been featured in various publications, including The Stanford Daily, Yale Daily News, and Los Angeles Times. At the CGA, she participates in research on the Spatial Data Lab and workflow related projects.
