Junyi Chen graduated with an honors distinction of Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in December 2021 and received a bachelor’s degree with double majors in mathematics and applied mathematics and statistics in two and a half years. She also completed a minor in computer science and participated in an honors program in WISE (Women in STEM). After graduation, she has been working as a full-time data analyst for Transwarp Technology Company in China, mainly focused on the education and finance fields. She is also certified as a Data Management Professional Associate during work time. She plans to apply for a master's degree in data science in Fall 2024. She contributed to several CGA projects remotely and is looks forward to participating in more geospatial analysis projects in the CGA.
