Yogya Kalra
Yogya Kalra is an undergraduate student at Western University in London, Canada, pursuing a double degree in Biology and Business Administration. He is passionate about using communication, geospatial analysis, and community-building to amplify the impact of data-driven projects.
At age 15, Yogya joined the Center for Geographic Analysis (CGA) as a research affiliate and has since contributed to over a dozen projects exploring pandemic data infrastructure, COVID-19 mortality, and collaborative research networks. Currently, Yogya focuses on the development of the International Geospatial Health Research Network (IGHRN), connecting institutions, governments, and non-profits through global conferences, initiatives, and project collaboration. Yogya also leads the internship program at the Spatial Data Lab (SDL), helping engage youth in geospatial science.
