Zhan Zhang

Zhan Zhang is as a pre-doctoral Visiting Fellow at the Center for Geographic Analysis (CGA). He is currently pursuing his doctorate at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS) at Wuhan University. His research is centered on utilizing remote sensing data for land use and land cover (LULC) analysis, with a particular focus on developing semantic segmentation algorithms for remote sensing interpretation tasks. Zhan has been actively involved in the GeoImage project spearheaded by the CGA, contributing his expertise in remote sensing and geographic analysis.
