Guest Speakers - Introducing MassGIS Data

MassGIS Web Mapping Services Manager Aleda Freeman and MassGIS Director Cy Smith will introduce MassGIS data to Harvard students, researchers, and the public in the GOV1008: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course, led by CGA preceptor Dr. Connie Chen.

Ms. Aleda Freeman will present online, while Mr. Cy Smith will join the GOV1008 class in person. The class runs from noon–2:00 pm, with the MassGIS data introduction taking place from 1:00–1:30 pm. An online Zoom link will be available, and researchers interested in MassGIS data are welcome to attend during the presentation. If interested, please contact the course instructor, Dr. Connie Chen, at kanglinchen<at>fas<dot>harvard<dot>edu for access to the presentation between 1:00–1:30 pm.
