Last year, Massachusetts issued an order that the state must begin to transition off of natural gas. The question is how? There are 30,000 miles of gas pipes in the state that together contain four times the energy at winter peak than our electric grid can currently hold. ArcGIS Desktop Retirement in Education Programs - Affects ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro Single/Use Concurrent Use

The date for ending delivery of ArcGIS Desktop has changed. ArcGIS Desktop will now be removed from Education Program licenses on July 1, 2024ArcGIS Desktop enters Mature Support phase on March 1, 2024, meaning Technical Support still is available but no additional software updates or patches will be available. Student Map Gallery Exhibition November 28

Students in GOV 1008 Introduction to GIS will be showcasing their final projects in poster format in the CGIS Knafel building (1737 Cambridge St., Cambridge) Fisher Commons area on Tuesday, 11/28. Posters will be displayed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  From Noon – 2 p.m. students will be presenting their work in a lightning talk format, and will be available for questions and discussion from all visitors.
