Climate Action through Human-Centric Data Science: The CLIMB Project's Pathway to Resilience
Join the CLIMB Session at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) Science Summit
To showcase tangible examples of how science and innovation may contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for SDGs, the CLIMB project will host a two-hour session outlining our innovative approaches and recent findings. Our project stands at the intersection of technology and humanity, leveraging advanced data analytics and AI to better understand and predict human migration in the context of climate change. During the session, we will demonstrate how human-centric data science and digital technologies may help deepen our understanding of human needs, and lead to effective solutions that uphold the dignity and rights of populations who are most vulnerable to the adverse impacts of climate change.
